Balance Updates:

General

Flak Weapon Updates:
All Flak Weapons
This flag was set to false in order to prevent flak weapons from instantly killing all squad members in garrison structures.

  • Damage all in hold flag set from true to false

Centaur
Slight damage reduction in order to allow players to react to this unit. Previously at 20 damage the lethality rate of the Centaur was over performing.

  • Damage reduced from 20 to 14

Flamethrowers Update
Cover Table
We are reducing the bonus damage that flamethrowers apply to garrison to give players more to react with their units in garrison. Previously we would see weapon teams be killed before they could ungarrison.

  • Garrison cover bonus damage reduced from 1.5 to 1.25

Vehicle Flamethrowers
We tuned vehicle flamethrowers to make them more consistent across the board. We have reduced the damage on most heavy flame vehicles because it was over performing while increasing the damage on the wasp due to its underperformance.

  • Churchill Crocodile Flamethrower damage reduced from 12 to 10
  • KV-8 damage reduced from 16 to 10
  • Universal Carrier Wasp damage increased from 6 to 10

Flame Damage Over time
We are increasing the time per tick for damage over time. This will include all incendiary abilities, Molotov’s, and flamer dots that vehicles leave behind. The tick in game time should translate to about 1 second real time which should help player gauge the amount of damage they will take if they choose to stand in the fire.

  • Damage frequency reduced from 0.5 to 1.25
  • Dot radius increased from 3 to 5

Artillery Update
Air Superiority
Previously the huge blast radius of these bombs made it very difficult for players to dodge.

  • AOE Radius of bombs reduced from 10 to 5

Heavy Artillery Shells
We want to reduce the effectiveness of artillery shells against production buildings.

  • Now do 25% less damage against base structures

LEIG
In our effort to make AOE more consistent we saw a huge jump in performance with indirect fire units such as the LEIG and Pak Howtizer. We are adjusting its stats to bring it more in line with other indirect fire units.

  • Suppression Amount reduced from 0.3 to 0.22
  • Damage profile reduced from 0.25/0.5/1/ to 0.2/0.4/1
  • Projectile lowest angel increased from 10 to 35
  • Vet 1 Range bonus reduced from 15% to 5%
  • No Longer can auto face

Pak Howitzer
In our effort to make AOE more consistent we saw a huge jump in performance with indirect fire units such as the LEIG and Pak Howitzer. We are adjusting its stats to bring it more in line with other indirect fire units.

  • Radius reduced from 6 to 5
  • Suppression reduced from 0.3 to 0.215
  • Auto Attack Reload increased from 5.2 to 7
  • Projectile lowest angel increased from 10 to 35
  • Pak Howitzer population reduced from 5 to 3
  • No Longer can auto face

British Forces

Infantry Sections
We are addressing the heavy attrition costs that infantry sections have.

  • Reinforcement cost reduced by 10% (28 per model)

Sten MK Vi Silence SMG
We are reducing the overall DPS due to players not being able to react to these units when engaged in close quarters.

  • Rate of fire reduced from 26 to 14
  • Burst duration increased from 0.425 / 0.325 to 0.6 / 0.4

Churchills
Reducing the armor of the Churchill to allow reduce the amount of deflection while maintain the Churchill’s ability to soak up damage.

  • Armor reduced from 280 to 240
  • Default Churchill health reduced from 1600 to 1400

Map Updates:

Kholodny Ferma Winter

  • Minor balance improvements to bring it in line with the summer variation

Langres Winter

  • Minor balance improvements to bring it in line with the summer variation

Moscow Outskirts Winter

  • Minor balance improvements to bring it in line with the summer variation

Rails and Metal

  • Adjusted the Eastern bases for UKF players so their bases face inwards

Angoville Farms

  • Reverted back to a previous version without the glider wreck
  • Adjusted a map entry point for the southern base

Red Ball Express

  • Updated with the latest changes from the community members

Achelous River

  • Replaced a salvageable wreck with a non-salvageable one

Sturzdorf

  • Adjusted base bunkers so they were no longer covering territory capture areas

Bug Fixes:

General

  • Intel Bulletins now appear in the correct order
  • The UI will now function properly when accepting an observation party invite while in a multiplayer lobby
  • Games will no longer desync for the remaining users when one user quits the match
  • Equipped skins and bulletins now appear in saved games
  • Proper warning text appears when trying to build a howitzer in an HQ territory
  • Mission 06 can now be completed
  • Mission 10 starting units now behave properly
  • Howitzers can now fire if some crew members are in the soft map edge

  • Commandos can no longer reinforce at USF beacons
  • Airlanding Officer’s Officer Charge ability no longer stacks on allied USF units
  • Universal Carrier has had an inappropriate line of speech removed
  • AEC Mk. III Armored Car has had an inappropriate line of speech removed
  • Cromwell Mk. IV Cruiser Tank’s Prioritize Vehicles ability now has the correct animator

Console Commands:

These settings should only be used by expert modders seeking to get very specific with LOD and shadows while taking screenshots:

lod_setmaxdistance(150) - This will prevent models from dropping down to their lower LODs at a greater distance.
shadowmap_set_distance_override("far", [float value]) - Raising this value will cause shadows to be noticeable at greater distances. Raising this value too high will cause the shadows resolution to decrease.
shadowmap_toggle_distance_override("far", true) - This will toggle the previous console command to take effect.

shadowmap_set_distance_override("near", [float value]) - (Only used on High and Ultra settings) Adjusting this value will determine how far near shadows are rendered. Raising this value too high will cause the shadows resolution to decrease.
shadowmap_toggle_distance_override("near", true) - This will toggle the previous console command to take effect.

dirt_settexelspermeter(150) - Raising this value will increase the tiling of the terrain textures. This can improve terrain resolution, though raising it too high will cause noticeable repetition in the terrain textures.
About the texels per meter: that parameter is already exposed in the Worldbuilder Terrain Properties dialog and that parameter is not recommended to change it in game at run time as it will cause not only the tiling but also splats and splines to look very different as could become too blurry, or too tiled (causing lots of aliasing) as maps are authored with a specific texels per meter settings in mind, this parameter will really not help the maps look better (quite the contrary) if changed in game, it should only be changed in the Worldbuilder map settings when authoring the map so things look proper.
