On a le fin mot de l'histoire, King Art Games (le développeur du jeu) aura comme éditeur Deep Silver (éditeur derrrière les jeux : Metro, Saint's Row, Dead Island, Kingdom Come: Deliverance, Wasteland 2, Pathfinder: Kingmaker, ...). Comme annoncé au début King Art gardera le contrôle sur le jeu. Les devs sont aussi en train de voir s'ils peuvent sortir les outils qui permettraient de créer un éditeur de carte via le moteur Unity.

  • Une nouvelle carte 1v1 "Oil-spill" (Marée noire) :
  • Présence du studio à la Gamescom 2019 (Hall 9 - Stand Deep Silver pour les chanceux qui y vont) du 21 au 24 août. Les devs. feront de nouvelles annonces et montreront lors de cet événement plus de détails sur le jeu qui sera d'ailleurs jouable dans une version mise à jour par rapport à l'alpha 2.

Au programme :

  • Trailer du jeu présenté à la Gamescom :
  • Confirmation que le jeu ne sera pas exclusif à un magasin. Il sera disponible sur Steam (https://store.steampowered.com/app/826630), GoG (https://www.gog.com/game/iron_harvest) et d'autres magasins pour PC ainsi que les magasins respectifs de la PlayStation 4 et de la Xbox One pour console ;
  • La date de sortie du jeu a été fixée au 1er septembre 2020 soit quelques mois de retard par rapport à la période précédemment annoncée (fin 2019). Ce temps va permettre aux devs de terminer le jeu dans de bonnes conditions (ie. éviter/réduire le crunch) ;
  • La Beta est prévu pour mi-décembre ; Les personnes ayant pris le pack permettant d'avoir accès à la Beta auront accès à l'Alpha début septembre ;
  • Mise à jour de l'Alpha de 1,7Go du 19/08/2019 :
    • Serveurs multijoueur de nouveau ouvert ;
    • Ajout de la nouvelle carte 1v1 "Oil-spill" présentée dans le DevBlog #15 ;
    • Ajout des voix quand on sélectionne et donne des ordres aux unités ;
    • Ajout d'un mecha par faction ("Le 21/08/2019 sur le Discord officiel - [IH] The Iron Doctor : Sadly, there are no new mechs in the game. This was a miscommunication in the DevBlog. Turns out they’re not quite ready yet and got caught up in all the excitement of the announcements and Alpha 3 release.") ;
    • Ajout du lance-flammes ;
    • Ajout du mortier pour l'infanterie ;
    • Les unités d'infanteries peuvent maintenant occuper les bâtiments ;
    • Résolution de bugs et petites améliorations.
  • Tobi connu comme le porte-parole de Kingdom Come: Deliverance (Warhorse Studios) rejoint l'équipe de Deep Silver (éditeur de Kingdom Come et Iron Harvest). Il va les aider en terme de relation public et communauté durant la Gamescom et après.

Alpha - Hotfix du 23/08/2019 :

Let us know if you notice an improvement :

  • Re-added textures to destroyed advanced barracks.
  • Fixed game crashed that occurred when medics get a move order after building a field hospital.
  • Bunker blueprints no longer unveil fog of war.
  • Fixed the issue causing units to fire at empty ruins that were former occupied houses.
  • When a selected building gets fully constructed the training option now instantly appears.
  • The visualization of the order queue has been fixed when queueing build orders.
  • Flamethrowers have realized that paraffin works better than metal for ammo and so they now no longer sound like an MG 🙂
  • Challenge Map is no longer loaded, if nothing is selected, when starting a skirmish.
  • Menu text doesn’t stay white after being pressed.

Gameplay

  • Bunkers target preferences have been improved.
  • Troop-transports no longer have designated rear armor.
  • Flamers no longer ignore medic tents.
  • Infantry units now stays selected when changing to weapon systems.
  • Multiple Infantry units can now be reinforced when selected at once.
  • Garrisoned infantry now receives damaged, even if the damage is very small.
  • Infantry no longer ignore suppression when given a melee attack order.
  • General performance improvements.

Balance

  • Flamers damage has been increased and HP slightly increased to reflect a decrease in there movement speed.
  • Polania recon mech now deals less damage against light and medium armor.
  • Grenade damage against light armor has been reduced.
  • Medic XP gained from healing has been dramatically decreased.
  • Veterancy and Elite thresholds for Infantry have increased.

Bugs

  • Flamers now produce flames from the nozzle of their guns and not the center of the map.
  • Profile is no longer always selected in the main menu, even when the player clicked on something else.
  • Units inside a Polania Troop-transport Mech no longer cause FPS drop when firing.
  • Multiplayer chat should now work properly, except during loading screens.
  • In the multiplayer match loading screen tool-tips can now be cycled.
  • Destroying bunkers when garrisoned units are shooting from within no longer causes errors.
  • Saxony infantry no longer stay crouched when shooting from cover and then are ordered to stand up and move.
  • Simultaneous garrisoning from two different players now is handled gracefully.

Additions

  • We've returned the Deserted Tracks 1v1 multiplayer map.
  • Saxony structures now have shouts.
  • Added default annihilation victory option that is disabled and always toggle on.
  • Game settings no longer reset when changing the map selection.
  • The bug report and feedback button are back on the main menu!
  • Discord and Reddit community icons also added to the main menu.

However, here is what you need to know now if you want a chance to take part in this epic showdown! There are 48 places available in the tournament. There will be sixteen seeded players, who will be selected as seeds through a weighted exercise accounting for past tournament and overall ladder performance. These seeds will be selected from the list of eligible players who have completed a valid sign-up and declared their intent to participate. The remaining 32 players will be decided based on their overall automatch ranks. Again, these players will be drawn from the list of eligible players who have completed a valid sign up. So long story short, make sure you get working on those automatch ranks right now, should you want to be eligible! Each player will face off against the two other players in their group, playing each player once as Axis and once as Allies, meaning each player will play four games in total. This will provide ample chance for players to prove themselves. Maps will be selected from a tournament approved pool. Each series between two players will be played on the same map for the sake of fairness. Players will accrue one point for a win, and no points for a loss. The player with the most points will qualify in first place, and the player with the second-most points will qualify in second place. The player in third place will not qualify from their group and will be eliminated from the tournament. Victory Point count will be used to determine tie situations. On Sunday, the sixteen players who qualified top of their group will face off against one of the sixteen players who finished second in their group in a best-of-five elimination series. This is effectively the start of a traditional 32-player single-elimination tournament. A fight for survival and a chance to prove who is the very best in the world.
